Nextgen is the UK’s leading bioenergy and renewable energy generation event for both urban and rural communities. ESG tests hundreds of different types of renewable energy and recycled materials and will be attending the event to provide visitors with further information. As such, at stand C42, ESG will have experts on hand to provide details regarding the services available.
George Bradley, business manager for ESG’s Energy Services division, who will be attending the event, commented: “Nextgen will be a great opportunity for ESG to demonstrate the sampling and analysis services available for producers and end users. As the industry has moved into producing energy from renewable fuels, we have too, building extensive experience in the sampling and analysis of solid biofuels and solid recovered fuels (SRF).
“ESG was the first laboratory in the UK to gain extensive accreditation for the analysis of biomass, we can therefore ensure that our clients have the peace of mind that our processes, procedures, technical expertise and services are quality assured.”
By working in co-operation with Ofgem, the body responsible for issuing and administrating the Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC’s), ESG can ensure that generators are accredited for producing electricity from renewable sources. In order to satisfy the ROC’s requirements, ESG can provide assistance with completing initial fuel measurement and sampling (FMS) questionnaires, bespoke sampling plans and advice on all matters relating to biomass fuel quality.
Nextgen takes place at Stoneleigh Park on the 8 and 9 October. To find out more about ESG’s biomass sampling, preparation and analysis services, visithttp://www.esg.co.uk/services/biomass.
