CIBSE Approves ESG's Legionella Training Courses

08 April 2015

ESG has further enhanced its legionella management services that it offers to its Built Environment Services clients by gaining CIBSE approval for its Legionella training courses.

The newly approved training courses this year include Legionella Responsible Person and Legionella General Awareness.

CIBSE promotes the career of building services engineers by accrediting courses of study in further and higher education, approving work based training programmes and providing routes to full professional registration and membership. Once qualified, CIBSE offers a range of services, all focussed on maintaining and enhancing professional excellence throughout a career to its members.

Paul Sear, technical manager, Built Environment Services, ESG, commented: “We’re very proud that we have been recognised by CIBSE for the two legionella courses and as a CPD provider. This allows us to showcase all the great knowledge and expertise we have as a business in this area of legionella management and control. The courses also enable us to support our clients to increase their confidence and knowledge in this field. All of our legionella courses are delivered by our highly qualified and experienced staff.”

As a leading course provider, ESG carried out more than 30 legionella training courses in 2014, and with CIBSE approval, this is likely to further increase.

Last year, ESG announced the CIBSE approval of asbestos and water treatment CPD courses. For more information regarding Legionella training courses, please visit the ESG website
