Permeability Testing
One of our strengths is delivering extensive testing regimes. With this in mind we provide a wide choice of permeabilty tests to satisfy every
requirement including:
Constant Head Permeability (Granular Soils)
Using the largest commercially available Constant Head cell at 115mm diameter and maximum particle size to 10mm disturbed samples of granular soils are accurately tested for their permeable properties, optimal range 10-2 to 10-5m/s.
Falling Head Permeability
Undisturbed or recompacted specimen can be tested nominally 100mm diameter x 130mm high with maximum particle size 20mm, optimal range 10-5 to 10-9 m/s.
Triaxial Permeability
Undisturbed or recompacted specimen(s) are tested to BS1377 Part 6 method or accelerated method to Environment Agency specification, optimal range 10-7 to 10-11m/s.
