ESG provide an extensive range of UKAS accredited laboratory services for the monitoring of workplace exposure and environmental
impact assessment to analyse environmental problems commonly encountered in the workplace including air quality, building hygiene, occupational and nuisance dust and a range of other environmental and occupational health issues.
Our work in this field includes:

Laboratory testing of workplace exposures to dust and other substances hazardous to health, in accordance with COSHH and HSE regulations and guidance

Respirable, total inhalable dust and respirable quartz analysis

Dust speciation using the latest Scanning Electron Microscopy method

Laboratory testing of nuisance environmental dust for construction and development projects including long term deposition and boundary studies

Laboratory Analysis
Our UKAS accredited laboratory (Testing No. 1205) for Gravimetric dust and Quartz (silica) determination of occupational dust is carried out to the highest quality standards using industry compliant methodology.
We can also test for the presence of organic gases and vapours using extensive laboratory facilities through our Laboratory & Analytical Services division. These include:
