Railway Environmental Forum
Tuesday 11 October 2011
Earlier this month ESG hosted another successful forum event.
This time we collaborated with ATOC, who allowed us to use their offices in London. We were so pleased to see so many familiar faces and some new ones on the day. All in all there were 55 of us.
The feedback from those who came has all been very positive. The theme for the day was “Energy Use” and we had presentations from 3 TOCs (First Great Western, London Midland and South West Trains) on the energy saving initiatives they are introducing, an interesting guide to energy management from Bill Mahoney of CTC Energy as well as an update from Network Rail on Smart Metering and Energy Management.
The agenda, speaker profiles and agenda are available for you to download below.
The next forum is planned for March 2012 with the theme of “Waste Management”. We will be sending invitations out in the New Year, if you are interested in receiving the invitations and information about future Rail Forums, please contact forum@esg.co.uk.
