Next-day nutritional chemistry testing service launched

Environmental Scientifics Group (ESG), the UK’s leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services is pleased to announce that it has expanded its nutritional testing capabilities through its Food Division – Eclipse Scientific Group.

A leading provider of testing services to the food and drink, dairy, water and pharmaceutical industry, Eclipse now also offers a next-day testing service for nutritional chemistry.  The new service will be provided from the company’s laboratory at Chatteris in Cambridgeshire and will cover Group 2 analysis including cis trans and component tests (ash, carbohydrates, dietary fibre, energy, fats, fatty acids, moisture, protein, sodium and sugar).  Samples received by 10am Monday to Thursday, will have their results reported by 5pm the following day (samples received on Friday will normally be reported on Monday unless agreed in advance).

In today’s market, product launches are often condensed into short time frames and the new service will help our customers to meet the demands of the retailers.”
