Environmental Scientifics Group appoints Group Tenders Manager
New role will help ESG growth

Environmental Scientifics Group (ESG), the UK’s leading Environmental Compliance Company has appointed Julian Warburton as Group Tenders Manager with effect from 9 June 2010.

Based in ESG’s new Head Office in Burton on Trent, and with experience in a variety of sectors, including sales and bid management, Julian brings considerable experience to the company. Julian will report to Mandy Weston, Business Process Director and be responsible for a number of projects, including the development of a centralised knowledge bank for tenders.

Over the last 18 months, the ESG business has gone from strength to strength through a combination of strong organic growth as well as growth through acquisitions. It has a number of leading brands including Soil Mechanics, TES Bretby, PMC and CL Voelker and has recently reorganised its structure to deliver all its services through one legal entity – Environmental Scientifics Group.

ESG offers a complete solution for all legislative and regulatory environmental compliance from the ground up. Its divisions cover Geotechnical Services, Environmental Safely Compliance, Laboratories and Analytical Services and Materials Testing.

Julian comments “I’m delighted to have joined ESG. As a local man, their reputation as a company with great technical ability and a strong customer service ethos is well known. Tenders are an important part of the work ESG do and my experience of understanding the different stakeholder requirements and expectations as part of the tender process will be a welcome addition to the team.”
