Landscape Package (LP3)
Application: Assessment of Disturbed, Contaminated, Recycled or Manufactured Soils
Landscape Package 3 (LP 3) is suitable for assessing the quality and fertility of disturbed, recycled or manufactured soils intended for general landscaping purposes, domestic gardens, allotments or public open space.
It includes phytotoxic and zootoxic elements (those toxic to plants and humans given in the Department of the Environment publication ICRCL 59/83 - Guidance on the Assessment and Redevelopment of Contaminated Land) and other parameters necessary to determine whether the soil will support healthy plant growth.
The package may be used to assess compliance with the requirements of a landscape architect's soil specification or the CL Voelcker standard.
